On Tuesday, 02-04-14 at 10.20 am you played a song..I have heard it a number of times, but Shazam and the like will not recognize it. It is a female singing and she is singing about salt water tears running from her eyes. I cannot find it on lyric searchs either. This song played right before Cake/Take It All Away. What is it ??? Thanks...Tim
Looks like the song you’re looking for might be Time & Pocket Change by Heather Maloney!
Hey WKNH I really like the music and the culture of this radio station. I want to see the set lists of what you play. What we do at WUNH is record the artist. album, and title for each song and post them on our web site. I want to play some of your stuff on our waves! Share the love
We actually just launched our new website today, which is still www.wknh.org, and we’ll have everyone’s show playlist there documented weekly. We’re still ironing out kinks and getting adjusted to it, so, in the meantime, feel free to call/text any of our DJs if you like a song (the number is 603-358-TUNE ) or shoot our music directors a message here if no one picks up the phone!
was listening to your station earlier, and I think the band "we might be giants" had a little recording, and a song played after that however I've been trying to find the song and I'm not having any luck. it was today (12/27) between the times 9:50 and 10:05. any chance you could tell me what the song was?
Sure! Based on what you described, the song should be Plastic Paperbacks by The Posies. If not, we can just give you the list of all songs from 9:50-10:05 that day. Thanks for listening!
Sorry, anon…we need a bit more information than that. While we’re working on getting a streaming program that tells listeners what’s playing/what show is on, tell us what day and time you heard the song and we can locate it for you no problem. Again, sorry!
Alright, one more plug for the day and we’ll leave you alone.
The WKNH Acoustic Compilation, which was released one year ago, is $1.00 on Bandcamp. We got local heroes like thecolororange and Jake McKelvie and the Countertops along with big time friends like Perma (Max from Say Anything and Sherri from Eisley), The Civil Wars, and Owen! And all proceeds go towards Keene arts collective The Starving Artist!
22 songs. All good acoustic jams. All for $1. Do the right thing.
Is there anywhere you can re-listen to one of your radio shows? To be more specific, the interview you guys did with Of Fortune And Fame.
We record specials, in band performances, and certain shows that request to be recorded. Luckily for you, Twerk Time with Woody (which had the interview with OFAF) usually upload their interviews on YouTube. Message Woody on his fan page to get the details on that!
Hey! I was driving through Keene and happened upon your station. Among calling Joe flawless and talking about his ballerina waist a played a song. On 9/24 around 4:15pm. What was that song?
Sorry for the delay in responding! That would definitely be our show The Danger Zone (who are currently on the air!) They’ve informed me the song you’re looking for is either Cold War Kids’s “Against Privacy” or, more likely, Joy Division’s “Disorder”. Thanks for listening!
The joke for "there is no f in way actually goes as follows: How do you catch an elephant in a SAFEWAY shopping bag? You take the "s" out of SAFE and the "f" out of way. The proper response is that there is "No "F" in way"!Best regards, JFMJr.
Glue Girls (Live on KDHX) by Someone Still Loves You, Boris Yeltsin
Rainy day in Keene, so I’ve been holed up in the station with a few WKNH DJs and eBoard members rewiring and reorganizing the station. This one’s on right now, so here’s a live cut we found of it. So basically, listen to this, then listen to us.
We’ve worked hard on it for a little while, but we’re now ready to unveil our new site. This new WKNH.org also acts as our blog, where (we hope) all of our DJs will post music and content that show off the diversity of our station.
If you have any questions, comments, or thoughts on our new WKNH.org, please send us an Ask or email someone via the Contact WKNH link above!
